Yes, it is. Enzyme baths are a type of hot bath that generate heat through the fermentation of microorganisms. This means that daily maintenance is required. You will need to do some physical activity, such as shoveling or drilling, but there are many establishments that are run by women only, so don’t worry.
How long does daily maintenance take?
As a guide, it takes about 30 minutes for one person to do one bath. (It takes about one hour for two people to maintain four baths.) As you gain more experience, you will be able to complete the maintenance at a faster pace. You will grow to love the microorganisms more as you interact with them every day.
How much is the initial cost of the enzyme bath itself, including rice bran, sawdust, and fermented solution?
This varies depending on the country, including transportation costs. We will look into it and let you know as soon as we receive the contract initiation fee. Please be aware that it takes time and money to provide an estimate for logistics overseas.
How much are the running costs of the enzyme baths themselves?
The costs vary greatly depending on shipping. Please contact us for details.
Are there any conditions regarding the location of my business?
Enzyme baths use the heat of fermentation from microorganisms. Whether or not fermentation is possible depends on the place and space where you open your business. This is something that can be discussed during (text-based, free-of-charge) consultation. More important than the specific location, is the ability to achieve successful fermentation, so rest assured the location can be finalized after signing the contract.
Are there any regulations upon receiving startup support from “Hakkou Ningen”?
A confidentiality agreement will be signed when receiving know-how. Therefore, opening support businesses and franchise businesses are prohibited. Store development yourself is permitted, but there is an additional cost.
Can I consult or ask questions about fermentation even after opening my business?
We provide support for a period of one month after opening. If you want continued support after this time, there will be an additional cost, so please consult the materials.
